Spring is finally here - With it come allergies for some, sunburns for others, and a full event calendar for us at Trimble MAPS. Find our highlights of April 2019 below:
At the beginning of the month, our German team introduced the Trimble MAPS platform against the backdrop of the River Rhine at the Honeywell partner event in Cologne.
In mid-April, our North America team was off to ExpoCam, the largest Canadian trucking show, in Montreal, QC. They introduced our portfolio of solutions, which can help drivers, owner operators, or any size fleet with trip planning, truck safe navigation, and precise routing and reporting.
There’s much more to come in the upcoming weeks - If you are planning to attend transport & logistic at the beginning of June in Munich, Germany, why not make an appointment to learn more about the Trimble MAPS platform and CoPilot Truck capabilities. We look forward to seeing you!
Trip Planning & HazMat Routing
Every day your drivers face a number of circumstances that can influence their trip - from traffic congestion and hours of service to the availability of parking. MileOn by PC*MILER empowers your drivers with the features they want and the tools they need.
Additionally, transporting hazardous materials along illegal routes not only poses serious public safety, driver safety, and environmental concerns, but can also carry quite a hefty fine. A US trucking company recently found that out the hard way when they pleaded guilty to an illegal hazmat transport, resulting in $3 million (USD) in penalties and environmental remediation. Find out how our HazMat routing can solve this issue.
Maps, Maps, Maps

Lunch, Learn, Grow
What better way to learn? In mid-April, our London employees enjoyed an informative "Lunch & Learn" session about the Appian business.
Did you know that Trimble MAPS has its own women's network? The goal is to empower and connect the women of Trimble MAPS and foster a community that promotes personal growth, career development, mentoring and inclusion.
