Spring is finally here, at least for some of us. ALKers have been out and about traveling around the globe to attend events, connect with customers, partners and each other. Here are our highlights for April:
We’ve Been Busy Bees
At the beginning of the month, our US team traveled to the TIA Annual Convention and Trade Show in Palm Desert, CA, an event focused on North America’s brokerage-based logistics. The following week, we attended the National Tank Truck 70th Annual Conference in Toronto, Canada. The conference is the premier tank truck event to connect with bulk carrier and private fleet owners and executives.

Our European team visited the beautiful island of Malta to attend the Zebra Channel Partner Summit and connect with our partner:

Rounding up the month of May was the NPTC Education Management Conference & Exhibition in Cincinnati, OH, the national private truck fleet event of the year. This event was particularly special because we had one of our very own ALKers, Jon Rasmussen, receive his Certified Transportation Professional award. Congrats Jon!

Let’s Get Social
This month our ALKers in our London office had the opportunity to give back to the community by collecting household goods and clothing for Ace of Clubs, a homeless shelter in South London. In our “Day of Service” initiative, ALKers then got some hands-on experience helping the community by cooking at the shelter, providing IT knowledge and social activities.
