November 11th is a day of commemoration around the world to the men and women who have fought bravely throughout history. This day of gratitude is known by different names depending on country, for example, it is known as Armistice Day in parts of Europe and Remembrance Day in Canada.
Remembrance Sunday is also celebrated each year in the United Kingdom on the second Sunday of November.
